Flying Cape’s Enrichment Experience at Changi Airport Featured by The Straits Times
Flying Cape was delighted to support a series of engaging children’s workshops at Changi Airport, with the enrichment programme subsequently highlighted by The Straits Times in its Fun With Kids feature. The article showcased the wide variety of activities available at Changi Airport, ranging from storytelling, magic and creative arts to robotics and technology. Among the featured experiences was the Be A Young Pilot robotics workshop, where children aged seven and above could explore the role of robotics in aviation through an interactive, hands-on activity.During the workshop, young participants programmed robots to move at different speeds and navigate their “aircraft” around a simulated airport. The experience made coding and technology more accessible by connecting these concepts to the exciting world of aviation.Learning Through Meaningful ExperiencesFlying Cape helped introduce families and media guests to the programme through a special preview featuring four hands-on activities:A creative bento-making craft; The Be A Young Pilot coding and robotics workshop; An aviation-themed cupcake-decorating session; andAn interactive magic discovery workshop. Each experience gave children an opportunity to learn through play while developing different interests and abilities. From logical thinking and problem-solving to creativity, communication and fine motor skills, the activities demonstrated how meaningful learning can take place far beyond the traditional classroom. The programme reflects Flying Cape’s belief that every child learns differently. By giving children opportunities to explore a diverse range of experiences, parents can better understand what captures their child’s curiosity and where their natural strengths may lie.Read the feature: Fun With Kids: Enrichment fun at Changi Airport, animation to teach mindfulness, inspiring stories for teens — The Straits Times
